I know a lot of people decorate their campsites for the holidays but what about cabins? DH is thinking maybe Nov/Dec next trip instead of Jan/Feb.. waiting those extra months just seems unbearable... :rolleyes:

Well, I will give you my opinion.

MOST of the cabins do not get decorated. Some do, of course. Most campers DRIVE in so they can bring their decorations with them. Cabin folks drive AND fly in though not many decorate. <although if you read past threads some cabin folks come prepared>.

Cabins have a deck with a double outside plug that is good for lights or a small tree. Inside in a window is a possibility with festive lights or decore. If you are driving in I say, bring another trailer full of decorations. When you drive back from a park at night or walk back from the bus stop, there are few cabins decorated so yours should stand out.

I expect a Clark-Griswald-Family-Vacation-Christmas effort from you.

No pressure though. popcorn:: :rolleyes1

Thanks for the info. The outside double plug is good to know and helping us find our cabin easily on the way back is even more incentive to do it...

We don't ahve any lights outside our house this year :eek: just a tree in a window, so we need to double our Christmas cheer efforts next year.. Though Clark will still be disappointed ;)
