Hello again i need your help just went to bbok our cruise and it looks like deck 2 or 1 is what is open unless i want to spent lots more money and go to deck 6 or 7. can anyone guide me also i didn't book yet i was going to go thru cruise.com does anyone know any where else that may have some differnt rooms. i really wanted to book today... thanks

We stayed in room 1037 on our cruise and it was very quiet. It was listed on Dave's noisy room list but we found it to be very quiet and not much traffic on deck 1.

My experience with Dave's noisey room list is consistent with TJHutch's observation. That is, the list is out of date and inaccurate. Twice I've stayed on deck 2, far forward, in rooms under Diversions and it was plenty quiet.

We got back from the January 15, 2005 Western and stayed in room 2016 which was great for noise. Our friends stayed in 2012 and to be honest it was a little bigger if you can imagine. They didn't have a window seat to sit on it was extra space. I would definetly recommend both those rooms on deck two. Houzer

I just booked 2508 yesterday (would rather had mid-ship) and at that time, 3 different TAs and Disney Cruise Line all had the same 5 cabins to chose from.
I knew there wouldn't be much of a selection since I booked late. You can keep checking since cabins on hold are released at midnight if not booked.
Good luck!

Avoid the last 6 rooms from aft on Deck 2. There is engine noise and anchor noise on port days.

Oh, crap. I think we are in one of those "last six rooms" . Rooms 2088 and 2090. :(

yazee1--Your rooms are before the aft elevators, I don't think you need to worry. They are not part of the last six from the aft (the actual end of the ship).

We had 2516 for the 1/22 Magic Eastern. It was excellent. We loved that we were a short walk up to the Walt Disney Theater and the forward elevators. I think DCLTribute/Passporter is outdated too. I think his assessments are going back to when Diversions was a dualing piano bar. Now it's a pub and to be honest, Rockin D's and Diversions were pretty dead after 10:30am on our Jan. 22 Magic cruise. My wife and I dropped the kids off at Oceaneer's Club for a movie one night after our 8:30 dinner and went to Rocking D's for about 10 minutes. They played "I had the time of my life", then "Wind beneath my wings", then some Bee Gees slow song. We didn't wait for the next song. :confused3
