I have deck 2 connecting 9Bs booked for Alaska 2019. They only sleep 3 per room. I need ones that sleep 4 per soon so the boys can take the couch/upper berth and DD19 can take the bed and the 2 year old in the other room on the couch with us.
There haven't been any that sleep 4 avail since we booked on silver opening day. I am seeing connecting deck 1 9Ds that sleep 4 but I don't really want small portholes or deck 1. Ugh. Anyone sailed in one of these that loved or hated it for any reason?

Deck 2 is our go-to for both the Magic & Wonder. Are there no 4 person rooms on deck 2? I'd do deck 1 if I had to, since I gotta have my natural light. Two small portholes are better than none.

Is there a reason the boys can't share the queen bed, and your daughter sleep on the sofa?

No connecting available on deck 2. She could sleep on the sofa but it isn’t great for an adult...she will be 19. Also, the boys are like oil and water so they won’t do great sharing a bed. I feel like for $12k I should get the sleeping arrangements I want. Ha! Will keep checking. Maybe someone will cancel.

It may be that one of your rooms does technically sleep 4, but that they can only be booked for 3 now. As the ship fills up, capacity for rooms of 4 may be filled, even if there are rooms of 4 left. On our third cruise, we sailed over Christmas and only rooms for 3 were available, but both of our connecting rooms actually did sleep 4, so there was no fighting over the top bunk since we had 2 of them.

I booked opening day so seems odd there would be a capacity issue. My TA said there aren’t many 9Bs and below that sleep 4 and none were available. There are connecting 9Ds but on deck 1. Those opened recently so someone must’ve cancelled them. According to my research my specific rooms sleep 3, unfortunately.

Eta: there are 9Bs that sleep 4 avail, just not connecting. I guess that’s why there were so few to begin with.
