I GOT MY PLANNING KIT!!!! Now my question is........we are planning dinner at 'Ohana for the night of our wedding. The plan is to get a reservation time, where we can catch Wishes right after dinner. We are going to be there in early March, what do you all suggest for a ressie time to coincide with Wishes? Thanks!!

I definately suggest watching wishes from 'Ohana. We did it for our anniversary dinner June 2, 2006. They pipe in the music, it was fantastic! I plan to have my welcome dinner for my VR the night before there at 'Ohana!

It depends on what time Wishes starts in March. I would suggest your reservation time be for between and hour and an hour and a half before the fireworks, especially if you have a group. It took us around 30 minutes to be seated at 'Ohana for our rehearsal dinner.

well when we were there in march during our wedding trip we ate at ohanas one night to celebrate my parents 30th anniversary our adr was at 8:20 & we were able to see the fireworks in the distance from ohanas during dinner. it wasnt as great as i thought it would be, i think the fireworks are better from the beach area at the poly personally, along with a view of the ewp. we also had a cake made for my parents at dinner, it was really nice & the servers sang, etc.

I am kinda thinking a 7:30 or 8:00 ressie, cause I would personally like to go to the beach to see the fireworks.......how long is an average time for dinner at 'Ohana's?

I totally recommend it! Thats were DF proposed, during Wishes...absolutely great! We went at 745 for 900 wishes (but I didn't know about it)

I'd say make them at 7:30pm. If dinner happens to go by fast, you can always kill some time having great conversation and a few more drinks.
