Decisions Decisions!

Hi out there,

Being a real foodie, I am cramming as many nice meals as I possibly can throughout our two week vacation to Disney this coming xmas and new year.

As I am not rich enough to eat a fine dining experience every evening,
My question to those with experience out there is:

California Grill
Victoria & Alberts - chefs table (new years eve)
Bistro de Paris
BICE Ristorante - Portofino Bay (know it's quite new, don't know if anyone has had experience of eating here recently?)

Which one would you ditch out of the above? As I simply can't fit them all in. The only one I haven't heard much about is California Grill, but reviews I have found sound really good - but one choice has to go!!

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Having dined at both Cali Grill and V&A's (although not at the Chef's table yet), I totally recommend keeping those two. A friend of mine dined at Bistro de Paris last month and LOVED it! If you're staying at a Disney hotel, then I wouldn't make the trip to Portofino Bay just for dinner - but that's just me. If you are off site or will have a car, then I would say it could be worth it. But definitley stick with CG and V&A. You will NOT be disappointed in those!

You'd be crazy to get rid of Victoria & Albert's! California Grill is also fantastic. We had a late dinner there one night and found it to be amazingly relaxing and just simply pleasant.

If you're saying you've got the Chef's Table at V&As on New Year's Eve, then you'd be crazy to cancel it. In all my endeavours to book it (and I know all the tricks) I haven't been successful, let alone on New Year's Eve! I'm a real foodie, too and, in Orlando, this has to be the ultimate prize.

Can't fault California Grill. It's noisy, but in a good 'buzzing' way and the food really is superb (don't listen to the critics).

We haven't tried Bice yet. It's a chain, albeit an upmarket one, and has its detractors. I find it hard to believe it's anywhere near up to the standards of its predecessor - Delfino Riviera. That was simply too much a well-kept secret (presumably which is why it no longer exists).

Bistro de Paris has been on our "to do" list forever and we might just make it this trip, but, of those on your list, it would be the first I'd drop.
