Having enjoyed our April trip so much, I would like to go back to DLRP for the :santa: season but now can't decide when to go:confused:. Oldest DD will turn 7 on the 20th Nov and originally I planned to go on 18th and come back again on the 21st (Tue - Fri), but now I am thinking that we would be better including a weekend day so as not to miss anything Xmassy that might be on. We could go a couple of weeks later on Sunday 30th and be there for about 4pm ish at the latest and would stay to Wed, would that allow us to see any extra xmas shows that might be on (I am assuming that the park is open to 10pm on a Sunday night)? It only works out about £60 more to go a couple of weeks later hotel wise (Plan on staying at Sequoia Lodge again) so not a big difference not getting one child free and my mum is planning on coming with us this time as well so I wont have a single supplement to pay either.

Hi,

Based on last year, if you can go at the beginning of December, you will see all the Christmas stuff. It won't matter whether you go midweek or at the weekend, everything is run every day from the beginning of December. You will miss some things, including Fantillusion, if you go midweek in November.

We went in mid November 2006 and all the christmas stuff was out including artificial snow falling during the parade which was wierd seeing as it was teeming with rain anyway:lmao:

Hi

We were there last Dec 9 - 13th. I've just checked our programme info and on Sat 1/Sun 2 Dec last year it says Disneyland Park was open til 8 and 9 respectively, during the week it was til 7.00 pm. The following weekend (8th and 9th Dec) and through to 21 Dec both Sat and Sun it was til 10 pm and then midweek til 7.00 pm. That is as far as my programme goes.

Studios it says was open til 7.00 weekends and 6.00 weekdays.

As mentioned above last year Fantillusion only ran weekends in Nov and if you haven't seen this it really is worth making sure you catch it.

I have only been twice, both times for Christmas Season :santa: and would recommend it to anyone. We loved it:love:

We are off again in Sept for DD birthday - fingers crossed we get some sunshine but we were there during horrendous rain for a couple of days last Dec and still had fab time. All credit to the cast members who still came out and did the parades even though the weather was terrible.
