Decisions Decisions and some more decisions...advice, please

Hi everyone

We are going WDW from 7/2-7/17. Currently we have the WPF&M option on our tickets and the kids are looking forward to TL&BB but also really think Aquatica would be cool.

For first timers, would you recommend Aquatica or BB/TL?

we will have 8 children with us; ages 10,9,6,6,6,4,4 & 4. They all like water parks but only the older two are into the 'big rides".

Kids that age will love ANY waterpark. TL and BB are really good ones. My kids prefer BB over TL though. The wave pool scares them because they are not strong swimmers.
I haven't been to AQU yet, but it will probably be pretty crazy on the dates that you are coming. The newest thing in town usually is. I am put off by it saying that it has the largest kids play area in the world. What that means to me is that I will probably lose my kids.

I saw a photo of that play area on one of the boards. It is huge! We've been to many different water parks and I've never seen (or so it looks) one quite that large. I would be nervous about losing them.

One week we say we'll keep the WPF&M option, the next we switch to Aquatica. The younger six could care less how a WP is themed, the older two just really care about being at the WP!

I would suggest BB then. They have two different kids areas and they are small enough to keep up with your kids. My kids love the Ski Patrol training camp area they have. There are a couple of slides for them and some nets and fake icebergs that they get to walk across. The pool over there is big enough to just hang out in too.

but basically, yeah, the size at Aquatica makes it wayyy too easy to lose your kid.
