Well, at last count (being on page 5 and all)... it was 14 yes and 11 no... Pretty close, don't you think? Want to know the decision?

Well, the question was whether to take my son on a Mommy & Son trip to WDW Oct 1-5th for MNSSHP. Here is the dilema...

1) We just got back July 13th and I am sorta "Disney'd Out" :( . Until I come here, at least...

2) Leaving the girls home without taking them would be hard, but it would be awesome to run around and do all the big rides my son likes without babyswapping and doing Fantasyland 6 times (lol).

3) Money is not an issue although it could very easily be spent on other things. You know how that is...

4) My inlaws will think I have gone WAY over the edge. I actually feel bad about this.

5) I hate flying. In fact, during the return flight this time I swore to myself that if we landed safely that I would not tempt the Flight gods again for at least 4 years... then I think of this trip 3 months later... WHAT AM I THINKING?

6) Since DH has said that NO DISNEY FOR 4 YEARS... I feel like I need to really sneak another trip to use up my APs... that expire on October 12th... lol

So... knowing all this, would you go or not? Please don't just say GO GO GO without some decent reasons/justifications/etc... And by all means tell me if I am insane and should stay home, not be mean to the girls and use the money to build a rec room in the basement for them!! (hint, hint...)

Yes, is always better than no IMHO.... :) :teeth:

Yes, because when you say yes, you have to smile. If you say no, you have to frown.

of course! You can always regret it later, but with no, you will never know!

Hey Brat, I need to make a decision, is all... so I am taking a poll of yes or no lol :p ... simple way to make the decision, eh?

;)

Karen, please let us know if we influenced you, what your decision was, and was it correct! You know us DISers, always happy to help out.

I sure will, but I would like at least 50 votes to make an informed decision! lol... I'm only at 14 :( now... Hmmm... how can I get more votes?

I know, begging! please, please, please, please vote.

How was that?

I say NO because if your decision was going to be YES then you would have already made it, and would not be asking all of us. You are really just here looking for support to back your decision of NO so you don't feel bad about it. ;)

What I always say is.......

GO FOR IT!

:teeth:

I say absolutely not! How could you even think about it? You should be ashamed of yourself!;)

Bumped with the original unknown question added to the OP.

Actually, some of the responses are funny now that the question has been added.

1. I know the feeling, I get it when it's time to return home and usually stays for about a week.
2. How old are the girls? If you have someone to care for them as well as you can, then it would be nice mom/son time that you will both treasure.
3. you are the only one who can judge this.
4. In-laws may think you have gone over the edge, but that is their opinion, and you should not feel bad if they do. Is there something that they would rather you do that would make them happy? Would it make you happy?
5. I do not hate flying, I dislike the hassle of the airports sometimes. You either fly or drive, and that's a long drive from NY to WDW and would eat into your time a lot.
6. My DH would say no WDW ever, or maybe once every 10 years and then only "grown up stufff", I leave him at home, a lot! With APs in hand, it makes it easier to go.

I think you could do both the trip and the rec (wreck???) room. It seems like your girls are still really young, so they probably won't think you are mean by leaving them with someone (DH?). I think that if you can spend special time with your son now, you will also spend special time with each girl as they get older. SO I still say go.
