Hiya :wave2:

As i said in a previous post we're planning a very special trip to DLP next November for DH's 30th Birthday, we'll have 9 family and friends joining us.
We had wanted to stay at the 'pink palace' but were worried it would financially be out of reach for our friends, we talked about still staying there but our friends staying elsewhere but decided this option just wasn't for us.

So, even though it's still over 18 months away we have been talking about it allot (i am currently waiting on MRI results on a 'suspicious' lump in my inner ear and am doing anything and everything i can to take my mind off the 'C' word) :) We have come to conclusion that we think the Sequoia Lodge would be the best, it's a mid priced hotel, it isn't too far from the parks (my mum has just been diagnosed with early MS and does have the occasional off day) and if i remember rightly, is wonderful during the Christmas season.
So, we finally get to my question.....does this hotel have any suites or 'special' rooms? I would still like DH to have something a little special so am now looking into this.

Thanks in advance lovelies :goodvibes

Yes there are suites, we stayed in the honeymoon suite and it's one of the best if not the best hotel room I've stayed in! It had a balcony, dining table, coffee maker along with the Montana room usuals and of course much bigger.

Have no idea on the hotels but wanted to send best wishes for the MRI scan results:goodvibes

and Happy Planning !

I second that! I stayed in a suite in the Sequoia Lodge and the room was gorgeous!

We had a VERY spacious room which included a dining room, fabulous view across the lake (could even see rides in the Magic Kingdom and the Tower of Terror), coffee machine, robes etc... I would definately recommend staying there!

Most importantly though, I really do hope all goes well with the results. Keep us posted :grouphug:

Thank you for such a detailed reply, think a suite is a sure thing for us then!

And also thank you for your good wishes, will update when i get the results on May 19th :goodvibes

 Hope it all goes well Jemma

My Dad had C (see im not meantioned the horrid word either) behind his ear last year. He had a tiny op and is now hale, hearty and in the best health. He kept positive and thankfully it wasnt very bad or far along. Infact I think he has more of a pep in his step now and hes gone very affectionate. So cute seeing him and my Mam holding hands after 42 years and us 6 brats!

I'll be thinking of you on the 19th. Its my birthday so I'll wish for your good luck when Im blowing out the candles :flower3:
