I am planning a family trip for 4 in March, spring break. When should I make reservations for the WL? I was consdering the PO Riverside but want to be close to MK b/c of kids ages 6 and 3. Are there any bad rooms at the WL? I heard the POR involved a lot of walking. I can't decide between the 2.

we are leaving for WL in 4 days for the very reason you have listed. ITS CLOSE TO MK. i have a 5 and 4 yr old and the MK is the main park we are visiting and WL is close to it. IF you are booking a standard room to save $ i would book it asap b/c i guess there arent that many and they sell out quick. WL also has bunkbeds that arent guarenteed but its an added bonus for many. it was one of the major reasons we are staying here.

WL is my favorite resort. If you can, I'd recommend staying at the WL. Your kids will really enjoy it. I've stayed in the Courtyard view rooms, once because I booked it that way and the other time because we were upgraded from standard view.

As far as bad views at WL, they do have some standard rooms that look off onto the parking lot and might have some standard rooms where you can hear the noise from the trucks bringing supplies and picking up trash, but you probably have that all resorts.

I've nevered stayed at POR so I can't comment on that resort.

I'm sure more folks will chime in and let you know their experiences, though.

Good luck and have a great trip.
