I'm 21 and currently taking classes towards a degree in Marine Science. I still have a few years to reach my 4yr degree. I was referred to the Disney College Program and it seemed interesting so I figured why not apply and if I get accepted make the decision whether I would do it or not.
I have been accepted for the Spring 2010 advantage but am now undecided on going through with it or not. I realize it will be a good experience for me and I will have alot of fun, but it will also leave me with a 9 month period where I cannot take classes towards my degree. I could always come back and participate in the program at a later date in my college years too...
Suggestions? Comments? Advice? It's all welcome. Thanks for any helpful information.

I would say do it. See what classes you can take online from a technical school in your area that would transfer to your normal university towards your degree - think gen ed! It would require some hard work on your part though, concentrating on school work isn't easy when you're at Disney.

That way when you get the CP and some more classes under your belt you can go back to Disney to do an animal programs professional internship!
