Deciding on AP or not

I am just not sure here.

I would appreciate any help you can give.

We are going home for the first time this July for 10 days. Then going over christmas for 9 days. We then are not sure when we will be going back since we had to borrow from our 2007 points. We are trying to decide if we should get AP's instead of purchasing MY (My Way)tickets. Just a few questions: We would get the premium pass.

How much is it to renew the AP?

Will it be worth to renew if we do not go in 2008?

Do we have to renew?

Is the pass "added" to pur room key so we do not have to carry so many cards? I know this seems like a crazy question but we like the idea of one card doing everything for us. Less to worry about.

Let me have it! Along with any other thoughts I may have left out.

Lastly we are going in about three weeks. Is there enough time to get the passes before our trip or do we get them on will call?

It is absolutely worth it to buy them for the two trips you have planned this year if you enjoy the parks. Consider though how often you would go to the water parks or DQ. It might be cheaper to buy a regular AP and pay out of pocket for those experiences.

You do not have to renew. In fact unless a new trip is very close to expiration of APs/PAPS you'll be better off just buying new passes when the time comes. You certainly should not renew for 2008 if you won;t be going that year.

APs are seperate from room keys. They are made from a very tough but thin material.

I'm not sure if you'll have enough time to get your APs in the mail or not.

Just wanted to tell you that in May, we picked up our APs & DDE card in Epcot (we'd ordered them over the phone prior to our trip) & it only took a few minutes to get them.

You can just buy APs at your first park of the trip. To obtain the DVC discount make sure you have your DVC card with you as well as picture ids for adults.
