Deciding on a Fantasmic showing

Hi All

In the past folks on this board (myself included) have offered up the suggestion of selecting the first showing of Fanstasmic with the reasoning that you could watch the fireworks from the Rivers of America area. While the 'best' viewing of the fireworks has always been from in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle, you could still get a very good view from the Rivers area. That way you were able to catch both shows.

With the new show that I was able to catch a sneak peek of this week, I must change that advice. You do not want to watch the fireworks from anywhere else other than in front of the castle or the middle of Main Street. There is too much happening on the castle and the Matterhorn and you don't want to miss any of it. I won't give anything away, just suffice to say that you need to be there.

So...when planning on viewing Fantasmic, I'd go with the 2nd showing if there is one. Besides, it will be less crowded than the first one and you'll be more likely to get a good spot without camping out for hours.

Thanks for the advice, got2travel. I am plannng to book a Fantasmic show very soon. Just waiting for the 30 days out to be in effect.

I'll ask about the second show for all the reasons you mentioned that I hadn't thought of. Wow there is so much to take nto consideration and I'm still learning.
