I'd like to get a hotel that is niice but inexpensive. Somewhere close to Disneyland. Please give more information. I don't mind what hotel it is I don't really have a particular hotel in mind. I'd just like something inexpensive and niice. or something just average.
please and thank you.

Check out Howard Johnson, Candy Cane Inn, Tropicana, Fairfield Inn, Camelot Inn, Ramada Inn Maingate.

All within walking distance, Candy Cane Inn has best breakfast option & free shuttle if you don't want to walk. HoJo has best pool/splash area for young ones, Tropicana & Ramada Inn Maingate have large pools, Camelot Inn has nice rooftop pool & jacuzzi.

If you want a suite, my pick is Residence Inn Maingate.

For the "just average" but cheap category, I always recommend Anaheim Plaza.

All of these sounds great. I'll try to find more information about these. I'm leaning towards to like a suite or so.Thank you.

My sister and her bf have annual passes and are always going to DL. He has to go up to Anaheim a lot for work and after he's done they go to the park. They stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn and love it. I've also heard nothing, but great things about HoJo on this site.

I, too hear great things about HoJo, I want to stay there but I am also open for other places too. I don't really mind the walking distance to and from Disneyland. I've been looking at HoJo's pictures and the premiums rooms. I was hoping to get a nice hotel that my BF and I can stay for 3-4 days.

HoJo is great! So is CCI altho the room we had there was a bit smaller than the rooms we've had at the HoJo. It was Ok, just felt a bit smaller. You can also try places a bit farther out, they tend to be a bit cheaper.

We've stayed at the Desert Inn & Suites, the rooms were ok, the pool (inside) very small, the staff....a bit rude at times & parking a NIGHTMARE!!
The travelers above us let there kids run the bath water run over (a lot) & our bed got soaked...water poured thru the sprinkler system. We called the office & they sent a maid to change the bedding & thought that should be good.....ummmmmmm the mattress was soaking wet...new bedding wasn't going to change that. My mother-in-law went to the office & told them to get us a new mattress & they acted like it was our fault & told her they didn't know if they had an extra mattress.....she told them...FIND ONE!! LOL
They eventually found one, but it was almost 6 hrs later....thank goodness, we just happened to be in the room when it happened....it was the bed we piled up souvenirs on during the day. I would have been really upset if those had gotten ruined.

On the plus side.....great rooftop viewing area to watch the fireworks. We did this a number of nights just to avoid the very large crowds (July 4th week)

My suggestion would be to stay within walking distance & avoid having to use ART (Anaheim Resort Transit)....that's a whole 'nother nightmare story.
Good luck & good planning !!

I've been hearing lots of good comments about HoJo. I'm thinking that we're going to end up picking this one because of what others say about it. I don't really know much about CCI but i'll look into it more. thank you.
