Deciding between swan and disney wedding need help

Hi we are getting married in december for an intimate wedding about 10 guests or so and have met with the people from justmarry for the swan but then we are also looking at maybe booking through disney. I have heard disney is hard to work with and you cant change things in your package they are pretty set. But we have heard with disney you get tickets included in your package.

Please help. has anyone looked at both options and chosen one over the other and for what reason?
we were just at disney and we didnt even look at the disney places where you can get married only at the swan because we had not even considered disney but now we might be so now i wish we had looked at all the other places you can choose.

we are looking to get married in the middle of the week around the 5th of DEc this year.

Hey! i am getting married on the 5th December this year too!

Personally whe i was looking to book a intimate wedding with Disney they were really helpful. They told me that i could change things, such as upgrade the cake that was included, the limo that was included they were going to allow me to use at another time and as i already had a photographer they were going to allow me to have the credit for a honeymoon shoot in MK or in Epcot instead.

I think the problems people have had with Intimate weddings with Disney is basically the reception. I know there are some rules about intimate weddings and where you can wear your wedding dress, such as you can wear it i the parks but oly if you have disney trasportation take you backstage etc.

I had a few problems, basically with Disney policies, and so I looked into a Swan wedding to enable us to have those things that Disney wouldnt. Our problems were with the reception we wanted. We wanted a small gathering somewhere personal and beautiful and they wouldnt allow us to do it our way without becoming custom.
But I have to say I stuck with my intimate wedding and am so glad that I did.
Our day was magical from start to finish, and Disney did everything to ensure a memorable day.
Go with Disney, you wont regret it.

what kind of problems was there with the reception? Are you limited to where you can go or something? I wish when we were down there we had looked at the options provided by disney and looked at the different places where we could have it. Maybe we will have to make a trip down there this summer.

How late can you book your wedding with disney and still get it? i didnt know since they are such a big venu if they dont allow things the same as others do.

Since we are doing this in december and its an intimate wedding i am thinking maybe we would not have to be to far out. We are actually going in sept to geogia for my sisters wedding maybe we could make a trip down to disney then or would that be to late for a dec wedding?

Also i saw somewhere some packages where your lodging and theme park tickets are part of the package. anyone heard of this?
