Deciding Between QS and Full Dining Plan

Okay, I'm planning my late solo October trip and right now am assuming there won't be free dining (if there is I will upgrade to the full dining plan without a doubt). Right now on my 3 night trip I was planning to do 1 or 2 table services (Teppan Edo and possibly a character breakfast) and I'm trying to figure out if it makes since to upgrade. I'm vegetarian so my entrees tend to be on the cheaper end. The price difference between the plans is approximately $65. As it's a solo trip, I'm trying to decide if it's worth to upgrade or if I should save that money for more booths at Food & Wine?

If I do QS my plan is:
Arrival Day: QS dinner at Food Court
Day 1: QS breakfast at Food Court
Food & Wine Booths for lunch (using snack credits for some probably)
Teppan Edo out of pocket for Dinner
Day 2: QS breakfast at Food Court
QS lunch at BoG (fingers crossed)
QS dinner in Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios
Departure Day:
Character breakfast OoP followed by QS Lunch or QS Breakfast depending on departure time

If I did the Regular plan, I'd do
Arrival Day: QS dinner at Food Court
Day 1: QS breakfast at Food Court
Food & Wine Booths for lunch (using snack credits for some probably)
Teppan Edo out of pocket for Dinner
Day 2: Snack credit for breakfast (a venti frappuccino from starbucks is totally a balanced breakfast right)
QS lunch at BoG (fingers crossed)
Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, or Crystal Palace dinner
Departure Day:
Character breakfast (likely 'Ohana or 1900 Park Fare)

More than likely, since you'd order vegetarian dishes, you might come out ahead just paying out of pocket entirely and not doing either plan. If you will order a drink other than water, and will eat dessert at each of those meals, the meal plans May not LOSE you any money, but they still might. If you like the convenience of the plan and would still order drinks and dessert, based on your choices, I'd go ahead and get the regular plan.

There's a calculator at distripplanner.com where you can enter in the specific places you plan to eat (or something like "average counter service" if you're not sure) and it will determine whether to get the meal plan.

P.s. Of course a venti frappucino is a balanced breakfast!:thumbsup2

You know me, girl. GO BIG OR GO HOME. :rotfl:

Seriously. Get the Regular plan and spoil yourself. Have some amazing meals and awesome character interactions. ENJOY yourself!

I should add I'm a big diet coke and coffee drinker so I typically break even on CS and just consider the desert a bonus

With two QS breakfasts on your list, there's almost no way you'll break even with the QSDP. I'd say OOP unless free dining comes along.
