Im struggling to find a brand that doesnt taste powdery when its made up !

Have you tried Charbonnel et Walker? Adding real chocolate and cream makes it even more indulgent. :teeth:

Good recipe for the real stuff :goodvibes

2 squares chocolate (unsweetened preferably)
1/3 cup sugar
4 cups milk

Break or chop the two squares of chocolate into smaller pieces.

In a saucepan, add: 2 chopped squares chocolate, 1/3 cup sugar and 2 cups milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously. Once the mixture comes to a boil, add the remaining 2 cups milk and heat all the way through. Do not allow the hot chocolate to come to another boil.

Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Whoooo i love hot chocolate my favourite is from wetherspoons. Unfortunately i don't know what brand they use :confused3

I don't find the Galaxy one to be powdery. My favourite has to be Suchards but it is hard to find it in the shops

I am also going to reccommend Charbonnel et Walker, it's in a white tin with blue and gold writing. It's pretty pricey, but a little goes a long way:)

I love Cadbury's,but don't make it with water.I add 2 cupfulls of milk(or however many you're making it for) to a saucepan, add sugar+bring to boil, whisk in the choc powder+pour into mugs.Once slightly cooled add maltesers or mini marshmallows, squirty cream and crumbled flake on top :thumbsup2 .x.

I'm exactly the same Nikki. I love Suchards but you can't buy it anywhere. Also agree that Galaxy is nice, I make it in a saucepan with milk. :goodvibes

we like the galaxy one too :thumbsup2

My fiancée enjoys Aero, all tingly and bubbly.
I make it for her, putting three teaspoon fulls into the cup, add a splash of milk to the powder and stir, then add boiling water.
Usually i add some squirty cream and mini marshmallows then.

I am good to her ;)

:goodvibes
