Decent CS in Animal Kingdom?

Anybody have a favorite CS place in Animal Kingdom? We're not spending a huge amount of time there, but probably will need lunch.

We've only done one (we avoid the pizza place because we don't do Florida pizza). We love Flame Tree Barbecue -- great ribs, pulled pork, chicken.

You will get more than a decent CS, you will get arguably the best CS at WDW - Flame Tree BBQ! The ribs or half-chicken are must do's on my list! And I'm from Chicago home of some serious ribs!

We've done Flame Tree Barbecue and Yak & Yeti CS. Yak & Yeti is kind of like your local Asain take-out restaurant. We enjoyed both, but preferred FTB. Both places offer large servings and outdoor seating (only). Either one is a nice change from the typical hamburgers, chicken fingers, etc.

LOL! Ditto that - only we don't do pizza much anywhere else. Italy, did it there - different but good. Maybe I'd try NY pizza.

Jumping on the Flame Tree Bandwagon. I make our BBQ sauce at home now based on the Flame Tree recipe. NOM.

Add another vote for Flame Tree BBQ,great food and plenty of seating.

Another vote for Flame Tree. It's the only CS place at any of the parks that I make a point of going to on every trip.

AK really has the best offerings because they didn't really have TS restaurant inside the parks until the Yak and Yeti. Sadly they converted the Tusker House, but Flame tree and Pizzafari are really good-- NOT FOR PIZZA! but that delicious hot italian sandwich. It's SOOO good.

The pizza at Pizzafari was gross, I am going to Flame tree next time.

We always eat at Restaurantasaurus. They have pretty good food and a toppings bar.

I would recommend Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

I think Flame Tree BBQ is one of the best cs in all of WDW. When in AK we always go here for lunch.

I feel that as a park as a whole AK has the best CS on property. I really have not had a bad meal anywhere in the park. I cannot say that about other parks (cough Disney Studios cough).

It's the first entry that pops up when you google "Flame Tree Barbecue Recipe." I usually cut the recipe in half. That's plenty for one big batch of pulled pork with some leftover. Otherwise it freezes beautifully. You can cut back on the spice if it's a little hot for you, too..

We love Flame Tree BBQ - it's something that we look forward to every year. The pulled pork is so good. They also have other great options like a great, fresh fruit salad.

Always say yes to NY pizza!! I can't eat pizza anywhere else but here at home.


But, getting back to the thread, another vote for flame tree!
