How crowded is Dec at US/IOA? Do they have anything special going on in Dec? Thanks

It depends on when in December you are going. We were there last year Dec. 30 - Jan. 3. The first 3 days we were there were really crowded, but since we had Express staying onsite, it didn't affect our fun. The streets were full. It took a while to navigate through the parks, but we never had to wait in line more than 10 or 15 minutes - even with the extraordinarily large crowd. There are lovely decorations, Whoville in IOA, ice skating, fireworks, etc. Everything was just beautiful. Earlier in the month is probably not crowded, but I don't have personal experience with that.

Grinchmas has been incredibly successful, so it will be back this year. Early December has low crowds, and from 12/24-1/3 is generally the busiest time. IOA broke it's all time attendance record on 12/30 last year!

Early December remains one of my favorite times to visit these parks. They are decorated and have an exciting holiday feel. It snows in Seuss Landing while holiday tunes are playing and the Grinch is awesome. PBH has some special events as well. IOA has a holiday play that is worth catching. Its a great time to visit! The weather is very unpredictible for this time frame.

We were the early Dec 2001 (like 6-7 or something). The parks were empty! We rode Dueling Dragons about 6 times in a row, no waiting! I think the longest wait we had was for the boat back to PBH:) I do think we had a 10 minute wait or so at Cat in the Har
