how likely is it that someone can get a studio 7 months out at BLT, Poly or Beach club? This would be our first trip in Dec and was just wondering what our chances would be. I'm looking at the first week in Dec.

There are already holes at all of them for the first week in December. Yes, even Poly.

We have been members since 2003 and often travel during one of the first two weeks in Dec. Our home resort is SSR. We have never stayed there. We book our home resort at 11-months (just in case) and if BWV, BLT, BCV are not available for our entire trip at the 7-month mark, we waitlist. Every time so far (13 years now) our reservations were either made out-right at 7-months or the waitlists came through (knock on wood).

Will that continue?...who knows?

But I think that your chances are decent at being able to get into one of those three resorts...
