December weekend stay versus weekday? Crowds?

We are planning on staying at Universal for a couple days during our December, 2010 trip. I'm looking at either visiting the parks December 18-20 (Saturday-Monday) *or* doing December 20-22 (Monday-Wednesday). Am I going to see any real difference in crowds in doing Universal on a weekend day versus early in the week? We will have FOTL for 2 of the days, and will take our chances with the third. Thank you in advance for any input.

Monday through Wednesday would be better historically. The thing to keep in mind is Harry Potter will be open by then and the crowds should be insane for a long time. So any prior history or experience will not matter once WWoHP opens. It's gonna be anyone's guess.
