December Waitlist

I know we already had a thread on this but I haven't seen any recent info, so I thought I would just see if anybody had heard any GOOD news lately? I am not so patiently waiting for a studio at the Beach Club. I do have a studio booked at Old Key West, but would love to be closer to Epcot and the Boardwalk since it is just my DS and I. Will we have to wait until the 30 day mark to see the dominos start to fall?

We need four nights in a studio at SSR. So far I have three, and am paying cash for the fourth. I'm waitlisted for that one night for points.

And I also have my name on waitlists for all other resorts for those four nights. Basically I'm just looking for any reservation that can give me all four consecutive nights on points.

If I end up paying the one night in cash, it's okay...... No biggie. I'm just happy to be there!

I am waiting for a 2 bedroom, BW view, for 10 days. I have been waiting since January, and I have gotten 8 days so far. A month ago I got my last night, but I am still waiting for the 19th and 20th. Who would have thought that those would be the hardest nights to get? I was sure that Christmas week would have been the hardest nights to get, but I got those first. I started with two nights when I made my reservation.

I guess you must be going day by day. That's great that you have gotten so many! Have you thought about doing the 19th and 20th on cash? Wow, 10 days is going to be a wonderful trip that time of year. Make sure you eat at the Flying Fish!

Oh well, we'll be happy at BCV anyway. Just hoping to stay at VWL for the holidays.

LOL! I'm waitlisting the Dec. 3-8 for BCV I'm at VWL. I'm waiting for a 2 bedroom. bummer! I've been on the waitlist for BCV since March (it's also my home resort as well as VWL)

Here's hoping that you get your wish, but if you don't BCV is beautiful during the holidays, and the access the the Boardwalk and to Epcot with all of the Christmas decorations there make it wonderful. Have a wonderful trip!

At the 7 month mark, we were able to get a one-bedroom boardwalk view at BWV for the Fri and Sat nights (Dec 8 and 9), but had to waitlist the Thursday and Sunday nights. They came through about a month or so later, so in June, I think.

Our waitlist for a studio at BCV December 17 - 22 came through yesterday!! We initially had a studio at SSR booked for those dates. I hope everyone else's waitlists come through soon as well!

Wow, it looks like December waitlists are starting to come through! One of my two waitlists came through (the night of 12/26) in early June, and I'm still waiting on New Year's Eve.

I was WL for the first night of our trip Dec. 10 for a 2 BR at BCV. I got the rest of the week at the 7 month mark. I had been waiting since May I think and I just got the 10th this week. Good luck!

still waiting for a studio at any of the resorts for 11/29 - 12/6. Hope to get something but in case I can't I will be looking at booking Pop or another value resort ,since it is just me and my sister.
