December versus Summer Tips

We were there the week after Thanksgiving the past 2 years. We definitely did Kali both years. It is a bit cold right after you get drenched but I had a change of clothes for my DD (5-6 yo) and I was fine (even going straight to the Nemo show with the cold A/C)

I do agree needing both long sleeve and short sleeve clothing that week. The temperature range is definitely much larger in November than the summer or early fall.

Korg--you must have been there the January we were there. It rained every day. To buy hat, scarves and gloves almost broke the bank! We never even got the gloves--they were sold out!

Yeah I believe it was 2004. My god the weather was horrible. My wife and I still enjoyed ourselves, we were engaged to be married and it was our 1st trip together so we would have had a good time regardless of the weather. But my god ... everything we brought was drenched, our shoes were drenched and we froze! BUT being from New Hampshire it was STILL much nicer weather then WE normally get during the winter.

Sometimes I wonder how a real southerner would handle a real New England snow storm!

I hate to say it, but you never know what you are going to get. My DH and I went the last 2 Decembers. In 2006 we went the first week) it ranged from 85 to 57 during the day. Last year we went the second week and it was 80-85 every day. The nights do get chilly, you might just need a sweatshirt or a jacket and gloves, you just never know.

I went in 2004. The day we arrived it was 87 and sunny. The next 4 days were cold/rainy and had to wear jackets ( in upstate, NY where I live. would be considered for wearing during the Fall)
