Hi All-so DBF and I are headed back to the World for our first Disney Christmas! I'm so excited to see all the decorations and MVMCP!:cool1: We have been having a debate over whether or not we should fly or drive down (from Ohio). We have done both before (drove down in May '06, flown all other times). Flights out of Pittsburgh via SW are around $200/person roundtrip-DBF thinks this is too much (we've been spoiled in previous years with GREAT ding! deals), but I just hate to part with the convenience of flying and Magical Express! Also, while I don't think the drive down will be bad, I just don't see us being too excited about driving home on the 20th of December (plus there's the uncertainties of traffic and weather). His other argument is that since we are planning on going to Universal IOA for a day, having the car will make getting there more convenient than using Mears. So...what do all of you think?? Fly or drive? (and why?):confused3

For the time spent in the car, flying seems to be the way to go for the trips that are constrained by time (school, work etc). On more leisurely trips where you;d like to make several stops along the way definitely drive. I'm trying to talk myself into a long drive next summer telling myself the kids will love DC and the caves of PA.

I recall the days when we'd get great ding fares for $99 round trip to MCO. I know those days are long over. Lately Southwest seems to be neglecting patrons flying out of PVD so I've been shopping around -- Jet Blue seems to have better airfares now out of Boston. I'm leery to try them though because I've heard that once you fly Jet Blue you'll never be happy with another carrier.

erhmm, I've seen this 'BUMP' in several listings thru-out the forums.. whats it mean :) hehe

You are going around the same time as me ... ;) Christmas here we come!

People use "bump" to bring there posting back to the front page-they bump it back up!
