December timing? Radix Dance impact?

We're considering a trip for around December 7-13, so more than half our days would overlap the Radix Dance convention: https://www.radixdance.com/city/anaheim

Does anyone know the scale of this, and maybe what the impact might be in the parks?

Any other thoughts about that time of year? We could push back a week, but it looks like there are two events at the convention center the next weekend, and presumably more kids off school.

Those are last year’s dates.

This year looks like it’s dec 7-9.https://www.radixdance.com/2018-2019/

My son dances, though not competitively. His studio goes to one convention a year. And then he’s gone to a week-long thing in SoCal the last 3 years (will be 4 years in a week).

The dancers are working their rears off, learning, competing, rehearsing, eating, sleeping, eating. The dancers aren’t generally hitting the parks during those times. Before and maybe after, maybe. Their families, maybe.

But I don’t think they are going to be filling up the parks. If they are at the parks, they will be fit happy joyful tired kids and their supportive families. Nothing scary. :)
