December Solo Trip

Looking for recommendations for shows to experience during the holidays solo. I wasn't planning on the parks just going for the Christmas decor. So definitely monorailing around to all the resorts to check out Christmas and DS. I have already been to Candlelight and Christmas Party. What else is cool? Thanks

I was about to say the Candlelight Processional, but I see you've already done that. One thing I did that I really enjoyed was to make a list of all the holiday storytellers in Epcot along with their respective times, and planned out a day to see as many of them as possible (like "at [this time] I see the one in Germany, then head to Japan to see the one there at [this time], then go to....).

Would you consider Jollywood Nights? I know you've done MVMCP before, but Jollywood Nights would allow you to see Hollywood Studios' Christmas decorations and they have several different Christmas shows IIRC, including one hosted by Miss Piggy and Kermit that's supposed to be a blast.

If you're in the "no parks at all" camp, definitely book a good sit down meal somewhere at Disney Springs and enjoy the Christmas tree trail before or after your meal. Sounds like you already have the monorail resorts plan covered, but I recommend checking out Beach Club, Boardwalk, and Animal Kingdom Lodge as well for decorations. Have fun!

I think you need to go to the parks for a better holiday experience. The World Showcase in Epcot has each country represent their Christmas traditions through some storytelling. They have showtimes for each country.

Wilderness Lodge at Christmas is beautiful, Animal Kingdom is a second place.

I've never done this but if I were in your shoes I'd go to Fort Wilderness to see how all the campers decorate. I think they have a golf cart parade but it may just be at one specific date and time.

Christmas Tree Stroll
Pick up a brochure in Disney Springs and Challenge yourself to take a selfie with each Christmas tree. Then go to the 365 Days of Christmas and buy a memory ornament.
My son and I will be doing this.
