Tigger, I'll pass on a tip that a CM gave me when I was planning our first trip two years ago. He told me to keep my camera ready as we walked into the park, and capture DS' expression as he saw the castle and other wonderful sights!
I thought this was such a neat idea, but it didn't quite work out for me. I was giddy with excitement, had my camera ready, was looking at all the shops along Main Street, and finally spied the castle. I whipped the camera around onto DS(then 6yo) and gasped, "Oh my gosh, look at that beautiful castle!"![]()
He looked up at me with a puzzled expression and said, "Castle? What castle?"
I pointed down the street and gushed, "There! There behind the statue and the trees! See?"
"No... Oh... Is that a castle?"
I gave up, but I keep hoping someone else will have better luck!![]()
Thats a great idea, will definately try that!
your son made me laugh, sounds like something mine would do...he's miss the giant castle and notice a teeny duck or something

it'll just be for a day or so, b/c we're going in about a week to DL for a few days, and we're going for a whole week in feb for my sons bday. ive never seen DL during x-mas, so probably the first week of dec we'll go!! is that a good time to go? or would mid-dec be better??

This is our first holiday season there. I read that "IT IS SOMETHING TO SEE"! Can't wait. Our 4 year old son keeps asking to see GOOFY.
which is great for the early-morning risers (like us).
