December roll call

We're flying from Seattle to Long Beach on December 17. We'll fly home on the 24th. We're staying at the Grand Californian.

I'd go RIGHT NOW if I could...

whidbey5, if you don't mind me asking, what was the airfare from SEA to LGB for the dates you're going? what airlines? i was thinking of going around that time (12/18 to 12/20), but the airfare on alaska was WAY higher for that weekend...so now we're going 12/11 to 12/13, also flying into LGB.

Another member of the "Northwest Club" here! We will be flying from Seattle to Los Angeles on Dec. 3rd and staying until Dec. 11th. It will be a nice, long trip because we haven't been in over a year .I am in total Disneyland withdrawal! We'll be staying at Hojo's and it is our first trip during the Christmas season.:santa:I would love to be part of a Disboard's meet if there is one going on!

So, which one of us is going to start a photopass share?

I've never been to DLR, and am not sure how to go about doing it, but would love to join one if someone else wants to head it up! :flower3:

I would love to be part of a photopass - but have never done it before. I only learned about how to do it by reading the DIS! I would have loved to know about photopass last year when DH and I went for our trip w/out kids! :lmao:

Add 4 (-5) more to the list!! My mom, daughters (7 turning 8 on 12/5) and myself (possibly my dad) will be flying down on Dec. 3rd and leaving on Dec. 8th from Redmond, OR!!! We're staying at Paradise Pier this time!! It will be our first time there but we're looking forward to it!! We couldn't get into the Disneyland Hotel the whole stay so we decided to try something new!!! We can't wait!!!!

I would love to get in on a photopass share, too, but I haven't done one before either.

We're driving up from Tucson on Dec 13th (leaving at 5 am!) and staying at the Desert Inn from the 13th - 21st.

Hi Hi!

Our Christmastime trip will be Dec. 11th thru the 14th.:goodvibes

We are staying at the Grand California with the Downtown View for each of the three rooms.

The We... are...DH and myself ..Dgd {6}, Dgs {4} and Dgd {4} along with my Disney Mom and my husbands Disney Mom and Dad.

So..2 Grandparents..3 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandparents going to Disneyland in December!:santa:

We will be leaving December 26th for my DS (10)first trip and our first wedding anniversary on the 29th. We are taking the train from Oregon and then going to be in the parks from December 28-Jan 2nd.

SO EXCITED!!!

I too would be interested in photoshare if anyone is setting one up!

We just got back last night and I convinced dh that we need to go again to see the Christmas decor. We're trying to decide the exact dates but it'll be 11/29 or 30 through 12/2 or 3. We'll probably be driving from San Jose area, but I'm trying to find a flight that's reasonable. 14-15 hours in a car gets old real fast lol.

Check southwest. We are in San Jose and got flights for $49 one way. We are going Dec 10-13. All 4 of us fly for about $400.

We'll be driving from Southern Oregon to Disneyland November 29 through December 7. Staying at four different hotels, one night will be at Paradise Hotel and most of the other nights at Hotel Menage.

fairykin...love your new avatar...what cute kiddles...Did you trade the November trip for the December trip??... DL at Christmas Time:santa: with the family...what fun! It will be just DH and myself this time around...I wish we could talk the kids into joining us...JC

Hi there, a non-american visiting here :)

My ds (6) and I fly into LAX on 18th Dec for just 2 nights of Disney fun :yay: then fly out on the 20th to London!

It is a total surprise for my son - can't wait to see his face.
Tigger, I'll pass on a tip that a CM gave me when I was planning our first trip two years ago. He told me to keep my camera ready as we walked into the park, and capture DS' expression as he saw the castle and other wonderful sights!

I thought this was such a neat idea, but it didn't quite work out for me. I was giddy with excitement, had my camera ready, was looking at all the shops along Main Street, and finally spied the castle. I whipped the camera around onto DS(then 6yo) and gasped, "Oh my gosh, look at that beautiful castle!" :lovestruc

He looked up at me with a puzzled expression and said, "Castle? What castle?"

I pointed down the street and gushed, "There! There behind the statue and the trees! See?"

"No... Oh... Is that a castle?"

I gave up, but I keep hoping someone else will have better luck! :rotfl:

How do shares work? I get that we all split the cost, but how does each one get a copy of the cd, or at least a cd with my own family's pics?

We're going from West Jordan Ut leaving on Nov 30 with a stop in Primm (most likely) and staying at the BWPPI Dec 1-5th. We will probably be stoping for the night in Mesquite on the way back.

I'm interested in doing Photopass too. If no one else starts a group I probably will in a few weeks.
