December questions

Has anyone been to DL during the December 20-23? I'm thinking of going then but worried it might be crazy crowded. These would be the only days in December I could go, what do you guys think?

If I had to make a wild guess, I would say, yes, it will be crazy busy those days. Christmas is mid-week. Most schools will out during that time, allowing people a couple days to play before Christmas. The holidays are always a busy time.

I went those dates in 06, but back then it was a Wednesday and Thursday. It was not crowded at all and the hours were long. However many schools did not get out until the week after.

However, this year those dates fall on a weekend and for most schools that will be the beginning of their Christmas break. So it will be extremely crowded. On the other hand hours will be long and entertainment will be in full swing and all of the Christmas decoration will be up. So I say go for it even if it is crowded. Get there early, use FP and soak up the holiday atmosphere.

I think I'll pass then because now as I think about it, plane tickets prices would probably be crazy too. Maybe I'll do something in late summer. Thanks for your replies!
