December Questions?

Hello All ~ We are thinking of driving to Daytona Beach and WDW after Christmas....from Toronto....arriving Dec. 28-Jan. 1 in Daytona and Jan. 1-4 in WDW. I have questions.....

Weather?
Beach?
Ocean Temperature?
Crowds on beach and WDW?
Cost?
WDW Hours?

It can be rather cold for Florida... below 50 at times in January. Here are the hours:

The parks are not crowded at all (beyond New Years day), but some things may be closed for rehab.

Weather? Can be very cold. We have worn our winter coats at night and long pants and long sleeves during the day. Also have worn shorts during the day in the same week. We always pack for everything.

Beach? Fun and relaxing. We have been to Daytona, Melbourne and the Indialantic beach. Hotels are not cheap though.

Ocean Temperature? Very cold

Crowds on beach and WDW? Not crowded on the beach. Shouldn't be crowded at WDW after the 1st.

Cost? Value season starts Jan 1st, so should be good time for that.
