In a car and I was 17. My father hated him and about 20 years later, my father proudly sent me a newspaper clipping that said he (the boyfriend) had been arrested for INDECENT EXPOSURE!

I guess my father was right...

Now married to my husband (not the boyfriend) for 21 years!

I'm not sure how this thread evolved into a "true confession" one but I think the warning is good to keep your teens busy with family activities this holiday season.

I was 15, he was a jerk, and it is one of the biggest regrets of my life, I started crying afterwards. Teens, PLEASE be smarter than I was.

I understand why all of the parents are nervous about teens losing their virginity so early..why don't you just talk to them about it? Talking goes a long way. If you are truly worried that your teen may be sexually active talk to them about safe sex and even if they aren't sexually active still talk to them about safe sex. The country and the media are just now focusing on teens and sex and the scary statistics that go along with it. A lot of high schools don't have sex ed courses that teach about protection and what happens if you don't have protection. The information you should come from you, someone they trust. Don't scare them but make sure they understand the risks.
I think that some teens are under-educated and because of them and their risky behavior all teens get a bad rep for losing their virginity so young.
