We are getting married early December. We are having a small ceremony and an even smaller reception at someone’s house if at all. Obviously everything has changed with Covid but we don’t want to postpone the wedding any further. We were originally having the big traditional wedding and wanted to go to Italy/France for our honeymoon. We will still probably go to Europe next year or when we can but we still want to get away after the wedding. We got engaged in Disney December 2018 so we figured why not go back. We don’t care about the restrictions and changes, we just want to go. There don’t seem to be many options and the prices seem inflated. Does anyone know if this is because they aren’t booking anything for the resorts that are not yet open?

There are probably a lot of pre-existing reservations for December 2020, those opened for booking sometime last summer, and with so many resorts closed, people with pre-existing reservations were a priority to move. I'd either keep checking or have a plan B in mind.

In regard to prices, Disney has only released discounts through September and only available for annual pass holders. Nothing at all for the general public.

If you can wait until right after the holidays, prices drop significantly. Around January 5th value season starts and it is a huge difference btwn the inflated prices of the holiday season.
