December doesn't seem so far away now

I got a tip recently that "saver" frequent flier awards become available on most airlines 330 days before travel, so I went ahead and booked our usual trip for the week before Christmas. I got saver awards, 25,000 miles/ticket instead of the 40,000 miles/ticket I usually pay! I am deliriously happy about saving 30,000 miles (two of us are going). Plus, I always feel happier when I know where my next WDW fix is coming from!

I am seriously deliriously happy, and the trip's not for 11 months . . . I am a loon! But I know I'm in good company here.

99 more days to go! I still have so much to do to get ready!

We're going Mon-Fri, Dec. 11-15, 2006. Staying at SSR with rented points.
Saving over $1,000! My entire family is going including all the grown children,
21, 23, and the oldest who will turn 25 on our last day. What a thrill to have
us all together. The kids never have outgrown it. They still love to go and
when we're there, they stick to us like glue. My husband wants to know
when we'll get our alone time! We say, "Do what you want and meet us
back here." They always reply, "That's okay, we'll stay here with you." Sheesh.

Anyway, counting down. I guess just a little over 80 days! December is the
best time to go. Not hot, not crowded, festive decor, just perfect. See you
all there!

Doing US & IoA for the 1st time!
staying in a huge villa for the 1st time!
driving instead of flying for the 1st time! (Ahhh!)


Cant wait to see Disney at Christmas! When we saw Main Street at Christmas on Sorin' we knew we had to skip our usual June trip and wait for Christmas!

Im sure it will be worth the waiting!!!

Then to have my parents, brother and sister and thier families decide to come is so exciting! We are not planing to stay together the entire time.
Well meet for some rides, attractions and meals. If the weather is good we plan to take a day or 2 and hit the beaches! I really hope the weather is going to be good.
