December discounts at WDW?

Does anyone have any insight on if/when they will introduce deals for WDW in December? We are dying to book our vacation but are waiting for dining or room discounts!

I know that the first 2 weeks of December are a low-peak and therefore less inexpensive time to travel. We absolutely love going at that time of year for many reasons.

If you know a DVC member, or rent points, going at the time can be very affordable as well. I usually don't see discounts come through until just a few months before generally.

They generally do not have discounts for the first week of December. Last year they had free dining for some days that month, but not the first week--they do not typically offer discounts then because it is 'Pop Warner week'. We really like to go that week because it's generally uncrowded, so this time we're staying off property for the first time.

Last time we went the week after Thanksgiving in 2009 we got the free dining plan. Hoping for the same this time around!
