Hi-ya! First off, DIS ROCKS. :ccat:

Now, here's the deal, I'm planning on having my Disneymoon in December 2008 (married in Oct/08), and have become steadily more addicted to DIS. We're both in our mid-20's, no kids, and first time to WDW!!!! As a wannabe planner, one of my early attempts is to plan where to eat. So, here's my list. Let me know what you think, or if there is something that I am obviously missing. FYI, planning on staying at AKL, 14 day trip, I'm an adventurous-type food Disney nut (expert at D-Land), and my beau is a "meat-and-potatoes" kind-of-guy, who doesn't like breakfast, and humours me by listening to my latest tip I found on DIS for our trip that is over a year and a half away..... so here we go.

Breakfast
Boma
Boatwrights

Lunch
Cosmic Rays
Pecos Bill
Flame Tree
All Around Epcot Snacking

Grand Floridian Café

The meals that are in the parks are days that we'll be in that park. I tried to include most of the resorts I would like to see, but maybe I missed some great places with great restaurants and great decorations? Soo much stuff to do!
I also have a trip schedule, but perhaps that is for a later date. :woohoo:

We went in April. Me princess:, my son pirate: , mom popcorn:, dad :moped: , sis :3dglasses & bro :cool1:.
Let me first of all say you are a luck duck! I wish I was going back.
The best place by far that we ate at was sci-fi and MGM. The worse place we ate at was the brewery on the board walk. I can't really remember the name but DON"T GO THERE!!!! Food and service was beyond terrible! We ate at Tony's in Magic Kindom. Think lady and the tramp. It's italian super, super great food and service. We even sat on the patio during one of the many parades.
Also on a side note that I wish someone told me. They have these cards called photo pass cards. They are free and anytime a cast member takes your photo you hand them your card, they scan it and when you go home you can view and purchase the pictures. It's a lil pricey but the cd I ordered can hold up to 300 pictures. It cost about 150.00 but well worth it if you take that many pictures. some are with characters and some are just infront of the castle. But still worth having. My advice. get a new card each day you are there. That way if you loose one there is only a days worth of pictures lost. Not the whole vacations worth.

Really really really love Citricos at the Grand Flordian. It's our favorite restaruant at WDW. And now after my parents went last month it's their favorite.

Another one that keeps getting good reviews is Ragland Road (hopefully I'm spelling it right). We're going to go try it out in december when we go. Every review I've read says the food and service are really good.

Our two favorite breakfast places is Kona Cafe and O'hana. Kona has awesome tonga toast (think oversized french toast). I make dh (yes we are two late 20s w/o kids) go to O'hana b/c of mickey, stitch and others. Plus the food is actually good and the pineapple bread is awesome. This is the one character meal that dh and I will do.

Thanks ladies! I was looking for somewhere in MK during MVMCP and I have been seeing all those Raglan Road reviews and am trying to fit it in somewhere. Perhaps on my "pick any park to repeat day".... but that is the day I have Beaches & Cream lunch, which I have a keen sense will result in food-coma bliss. :faint:

Thats the problem (poor me:rolleyes1 ), so many places that look so good, and only a 14 day trip! Hmm... maybe I should stay longer.

Due to my obsessive compulsive DIS habit, I have changed my trip to be a split schedule between staying at Poly and AKL! I kept reading about Tonga Toast and the Pancakes, drooling, and struggling to find somewhere to fit a morning trip to Poly for them! But, aha, split schedule is the answer. Plus, Poly was my #2 pick for places to stay, and this way we'll be closer to MK & Epcot during the days we stay there.

So, here's my new and improved* dining plan. (* some sacrifices had to be made)

More thoughts are welcome... I have, err, :teacher: 351 days until 180-day reservation mark.
