December Dining/Advice Needed

We are planning a trip for December 9 - 18. I know this is supposed to be a slower time of year, so based on that can I comfortably procrastinate on making my PS's (or whatever they are called today ).

Other then character meals can I put this off or awhile...or will I have a problem getting my first choices if I wait?

Also, I'm thinking about taking my Love Biscuit (aka DH) on a date while we are there sans DD. We aren't into all the "dressing up" type places, but we would appreciate a romantic atmosphere. Someone recommended San Angel. Any opinions on this or other suggestions?

I think this will somewhat depend on were you are looking to eat. If hours are shorter in the parks then even with less people their will be a shorter time period when dinner is being served.

Last December (19th) we had a Sunday night dinner at Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge. The resturant was not crowded at all. This place will also fit your somewhat casual preference (no one was overly dressed up). The Wilderness Lodge is also very pretty with the Christmas Decorations. You might choose to make this a stop for your night without child or bring your daughter with and let her enjoy the atmosphere of the WL.

When I was at WDW last December (3-11) I had no problems getting my PS's for the times/dates I wanted. It is a slower time of the year, so you should be ok.

I still would book them 90 days out that way at least you will have them and then if you need to change/cancel, you can do so.

I'm going this year (Dec 3-11 -- again) and plan on doing as many PS's as possible.
