December crowds-pop warner

Just checked the pop warner calander and they are scheduled to be at WDW wide world of sports Dec. 7-12. How will this impact the crowd levels? Are the rides and busses going to be packed? Right now we are booked the 5-14, wondering if the crowds would be better 13-21?? Or if the christmas crowds would be worse on those dates?

We were in the World in 2001 along with Pop Warner. I had been worried before we went that things would be crowded. I never noticed any effect at all on the crowds! In fact, I only noticed some of the cheerleaders one day, at the Haunted Mansion, and once the ride was over I didn't see them again. Don't spend agonizing weeks worrying about this like I did!! They won't effect your visit at all!

I wouldn't change your plans. I've gone the first or second week of December the past 5 years and they have been there and it was no big deal. They have their competitions during the day so they aren't all in the parks at once. Crowds are low that time anyway, it doesn't make much difference, they aren't a very large group. The only bad thing is if you are staying at All Stars, that's where they stay, some have reported that they can be loud to all hours.

ok, we'll just leave things as they are then. we're staying at CSR so that shouldn't matter. I guess my teenage son won't mind seeing a few cheerleaders LOL!

We were there at the same time last year. The only time we noticed any difference in crowds was one afternoon at MGM. Apparently ALL of them came to that park at the same time. It was very crowded over by TOT and RNRRC! But, that was the only time during the week that we were faced with that large of a crowd. The rest of the time I did notice small groups of them--nothing like the afternoon at MGM. Don't worry about it. It really shouldn't effect your trip at all!
