December Annual Pass Rates Come Out?

We are coming to Disney in December for our wedding/honeymoon. When do the annual pass discounts for rooms become available? How do they work? When we booked our room, we were just told to call back and they would apply the discount. When my parents booked their room, they were told that they may not have their exact room available for a discount and that they may have to upgrade rooms but then get the discount. Im so curious how this works. We booked 7 nights with the thought of getting an annual discount.


Oh and what they heck are pin codes? We have not received anything in email abot them. How do they usually come? Are they usually higher than annual pass discounts?

1. Same time as November (July/August).

2. The amount of discount is based on where you are staying. Less for value resorts & more for Deluxe resorts. There are only so many rooms available at a discount. When the discounts are announced you call & ask if they can apply the discount to your reservation.

3. "Pin codes" are a discount code attached to your name in the Disney computers. The code can be for just about anything.

4. The discount offers can come by email, post card through the postal service or just noted in Disney's computers (Pin Codes).

5. Sometimes a little better & sometimes about the same. All depends on how many reservations the resorts have for that time frame. Annual Pass & Disney Visa holders often hear of a discount before the general public (GP).

I am waiting on the annual pass discounts too! It seems like it is taking a long time to post them
