Just a quick FYI.

I had a calculation error on the first tab for total number of participants. I have corrected it. one cabin was not being calculated into the total. If you based your count only on that total you will be off the count should have read 54 not 50. My apologies, check you inboxes for your e-mail. Version 8 is there.

Since the weekend before Thanksgiving a sickness that started with Hubs has now rotated through every member of the household....I'm the last and finally feeling better today!!!! So glad there is a week to go!!!!

Hope she feels better soon....and avoid her like the plague until next week ;-)

DW, DD4 and DD4 and I will be on the cruise. Can't wait. I know we missed the FE deadline but is there anything we can participate in?

We will be having a meet and greet on the first day at 3pm until muster drill at 4pm at the 687 club. Details are in the first post. We also have a private facebook group. You may join it. People are sharing pictures and getting to know one another. If you choose to join the facebook group put in your request your Dis user name and details.

I can't believe we are so close! We leave in 3 days and a wake up!!

I am assuming we can buy post cards at the gift shops on CC? I am planning to make up some address stickers so I all we have to do is add a sticker and a note I would be really bummed to get there and find no post cards!

I am not for sure if there are postcards for sale on CC, I have never looked but I do know you will get a couple of free postcards in your room. They will be in the desk in your cabin or maybe laying on your desk (depending on your room steward). I've also received postcards in the FE before so I've never actually had to buy a postcard.

The four times that I have been to Castaway Cay the post office has been closed but hopefully this fifth time will be a charm. If the post office is closed you can buy stamps at customer service and they will mail from the Castaway Cay post office next time it is open so you will still get your Castway post mark. You will need cash to buy stamps, that is really the only time you will need cash on the cruise.

I am pretty sure one of the gift shops on the cruise will have postcards. Yeah it is frustrating for me that the post office is always closed when I'm there. Our visits have always had great weather so I am not for sure why the office has been closed for each of our visits.

OK, I'm leaving tomorrow at 5am. If there are any changes to cabin numbers for the FE group please e-mail the individuals in your group so they know about the change. I would also suggest making sure someone from your party attends the meet and greet and let your fellow participants know. I will be able to check e-mail until 9am on Sunday.

First of all, a thank you to everyone for the wonderful FE gifts - our 3 yr old DGD especially enjoyed finding things outside our door each morning. This was our first Disney cruise (loved it), and our first time as FE participants, so hopefully we did alright with the gifts we passed out.

We were off the ship around 8:30, Dis transfers to the airport, then a 3:45PM Jet Blue flight which didn't leave until 5PM because of a minor mechanical problem; also the tvs didn't work the whole flight - had our DGD all set to watch kid's shows, then no tv! We left over an hour late, but considering two recent cruises had us stranded for a day on the way home, no complaints.

Thank you all for the wonderful FE gifts....the kids loved having the surprises each day...my daughter is trying to incorporate as much as she can into our scrapbook! (btw, did you find the discounted one in the gift shop??!!) This was our first experience with FEs and I learned a couple of things (double check for your labels!!! And I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the "thank you card").

Our cruise was amazing and the weather was wonderful! Castaway Cay could not have been more perfect (ok, our stingray encounter was canceled, but that's alright). We had so much fun with our kids (who are now telling us we need to complete the "Grand Slam" and do a seven night on the Fantasy, but I'm not sure my waistline could withstand a seven night.)
