I'll be on the Dec 9, 2007 Wonder as well. It's my first cruise and I'm going solo. I'm doing it as a Land and Sea, staying at the Poly beforehand.

Cool, glad to hear someone else is going to be on the same trip! and a first timer also! I dont know about you, but I have read allot of useful info on the boards and am really looking forward to this whole thing. We will be doing the land portion after the cruise, so looking forward to that too! We will have to check in as it gets closer and go from there!

Cheers! :thumbsup2

I love the DIS, I found it before my trip in Feb and have been lurking w/ the occasional post ever since. I can't wait til the cruise...Only 516 days til sailing on the Wonder.

Today must be 506 days to go!

Hi, I just cancelled a 7 night exotic western on Carn. Glory (worried about being out of country so long with an elderly mother, think a 4 day is a great compromise!)

We've sailed DCL once before last Dec. on a 3 night & absolutely loved it!

Combined it w/1st trip "home" to WL, saw Osborne Lights & MVMCP - one of our best vacations ever.:sunny:

We were very lucky & got upgraded from Cat #11 to Cat #8. This trip I grabbed the last "secret porthole" room...hope it's got a half-way decent view.

Now that there's 3 families aboard, we're good to go:boat: .

Talk to you soon...

Thanks for pointing me to this thread! This will be our 4th Disney cruise...We did a 3 day 1st, a few years ago. then we did the 1st DVC 4 day cruise...both were on the Wonder. We did the Mexican Riviera cruise last Aug on the Magic....since then we moved to Florida and I've been dying to book another Disney cruise..just booked the 4 day Dec 9,2007 last night...we are hoping to surprise our DD 15 and DS 12...don't know if I can keep a secret.....

Well, I am saying bye to this thread, I've decided to take the plunge and change to the 7-day Eastern leaving Dec 8. Hope everyone has a WONDERful cruise.

uh-oh...a deserter:goodvibes , enjoy your "longer" trip...

anyone else sign on...

we're still thinking of possibly moving it up to Sept., Dec. 07 seems mighty far away...I don't want to wait!

WooHoo! Only 346 days to go!:cool1: I think they need at least 3 cabins booked, so we better not have anymore switchers:)
I have read some really good trip reports and am looking forward to it (if possible) even more?

We just booked this cruise. It will be myself, husband, DD12 and DD10(ages at time of sailing). We did a 4day back in 2003 so we are long overdue and looking so forward to this one.

Kristin

God willing, we'll be on this sailing as well. It will be me (mom... age not to be disclosed ;) ) and DS who will be 12 by the time we sail. We did a 3 night cruise last November and it was just TOO short! We're really looking forward to this one.

Maybe the kids can e-mail each other ahead of time and have some friends on board?

Hi All! I just found this Board and wanted to introduce myself. My husband, daughter (who is 3) and I are doing the Land/Sea package for our 10th Anniversary! We will be staying at the Poly. I can't wait and am soooooo excited! We actually celebrated our 1st anniversary at Disney as well, so it's been 9 years since I've been. We are also first-time cruisers! YAY!

We'll be there too - me, DH, and DD's (18,15 and 9). We sailed the Magic in May 2004 and RCCL Mariner of the Seas in Dec 2006. Looking forward to this cruise - we'll be doing Sea World, Discovery Cove and MVMCP as well.

Look forward to getting to know everyone!!

Tammy

Glad to hear there are going to be a few more people onboard! Looking forward to the whole experience! Crystal_27 are you doing the land portion before your cruise or after? We also have a daughter 3, they might be able to make a cruise buddies?
dthogue, we saw a little about discovery cove, do you have any further details???
Talk with you all soon!

Goofy4, we are doing the "Land" portion before the cruise which, honestly, I prefer since I'm quite sure that our park experience is going to be quite hectic. I would love to try and get our toddlers to "toddle" around together.

Generally, I wanted to ask if anyone has decided on any excursions. Any recommendations/past experiences? The waiting is KILLING me - we are sooooo excited!!

The decision has been made and we are booking in the morning!!!! I am so excited. We are going to Wilderness Lodge for a couple of days prior. I cant go in December and miss MVMCP! We went to the Poly for five days last year prior to a 4 night cruise and was totally exhausted. We werent thinking about any park days this year but we already have the tickets and I have always wanted to stay at WL. I have to say for the poster that is going to the poly..........WE LOVED IT!
