I'm out getting a haircut and a bit of shopping. Hard to believe it's almost a year away from the cruise!

I was on facebook a little awhile ago, One of the families that I cruised with back in 08..is on the Fantasy now...left a few hours ago. They had spent a few days at Disney before the cruise....guess what???? No one picked up their luggage...so they are traveling right now with no luggage...they said they are hoping it arrives by the time they get to St thomas..... I could not handle that...no clothes...underware...make up....hair products....I would have to spend the whole time in the cabin.... that is just aweful....

Oh that would be horrible! It's the no clean underwear part that would upset me the most if I was in that situation!

We're doing a practice run this year! Will be cruising on the Caribbean Princess next week

That is horrible.. It always makes me nervous to rely on people for my luggage.

That thought has certainly gone thru my mind! I always carry a small bag so I at least have a change of undies and a bathing suit

Hi! I'm still around...just been running like crazy and so tired of looking at computer screens at work, haven't really been online much! Thanks for noticing I wasn't around!
But my house is all decorated for Christmas, most of my shopping is done and the bathroom remodel is in its planning stages. We've chosen our contractor, and we are beginning to look at fixtures.
I'm looking at faucets and have chosen the ones I want. My walls are a very very soft grey Laura Ashley shade that I want to keep, it changes in different light, so thinking of a darker grey tile. And I want hickory wood cabinets.
This should keep me busy and out of trouble until our cruise!

now back to the cruise:
We held our meet and greet at 3 PM on boarding day in the Bon Voyage Lounge just off the Atrium. We sort of took it over! We had a good time! I didn't do FE, and we spent most of our days at the adult pool. Ahhh, the life!
Guess I need to watch the tops some more....

I was looking at deck plans and I thought maybe La Piazza or Ooh La La on Deck 4 might be a good place. Do you remember these and do you think they might work?

Ooh La La might work, I don't know if it would be open. It's also a little small. La Piazza is a nice place, but kind of spread out and not 'one place'.
If we wanted to do a bar back in the district, I think I would say O'Gill's would be a good spot.
But it also depends on the size of the group. In that regard, if we become a big group, I would go La Piazza. The issue there is you have to go through LP to go to anything else so there would be lots of people running through exploring the ship. The Tube is big, but again, I don't know what would be open for us to use.

We don't have a start date yet. I'm getting antsy, I've been wanting to re-do the bathroom for YEARS. It's very basic white tile and maple cabs. No personality.

Glad your back....with so few of us posting, who know's how big our group will become. I am hoping that some of the others start posting after the first of the year....
I dont have a preference where we meet, as I have never been on the ship but just tell me time and place and I will show up

Just got done doing some running, Wally and I went out to breakfast, I dropped him back home then took off and did some Christmas shopping..just a couple of things left for my grandaughter and a few little things for Wally and I'm done. Now I have to start the wrapping process

Well I have a few things that I want to get done around here, then finish up

Stephanie, I know, I really want to put down new floors in both my bathrooms but I'm thinking of waiting till sometime next year...have fun with the remodle.
