December 7, 2013 - Winter Fantasy Cruise

I accidently hit enter when I signed up for the FE before I added my second son. So I signed up twice (the second one has both my kids), don't know if anyone can fix that.

Is anyone else obsessive like me? Whenever I have a free second I try to look up information on the Fantasy even though I pretty much have figured everything out already. My wife says when I research something (vacation, cars, etc.) I get a little OCD about it. I think she is right!

Oh, my goodness yes!!! We are all a little OCD about our cruises...I come to the boards so I don't drive DH absolutely nuts with my chatter about the cruise, plus it's nice to be the one who says 'this way dear' and strike out. I'm so directionally challenged that when I did that he was sure we wouldn't make it!
Now it doesn't surprise him any more!

Funny, I usually obsess about our trips but for this one I am not for some reason. Trying to just wing it and not plan. The only thing I definitely want is Palo brunch, after that just going to enjoy. I'm saying this now, let's see if I can hold out.

My sauces take two days to make so once everything is prepared and in the pot there's not much left to do other than stir it every now and then

Well we WILL be in his area in December... By then the unpacking would have been done and there'd be nothing to be done so we could all just sit out by the pool with some drinks with little umbrellas in them

Now that sounds like a wonderful idea! I'd be happy to give some pointers on caring for the pool, having been a pool owner for nearly 30 years

...but we also need to be in the pool....

Well, hope everyone is having a wonderful 4th, Sulley and I are taking it easy, enjoying the sunshine after all the rain, and planning on grilling some steak and corn later this afternoon. It's been a long rainy couple of weeks, even when it wasn't raining, it looked like rain and the humidity is absolutely killer.

And we get ever closer! I'm getting very excited! How about you?

I am really excited....but I have got so much going on...between the wedding, then the baby and then the cruise...the fall is going to be very busy for me. So I am sure it will go pretty fast.


I was out washing my car...I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata....and as I am washing the trunk area ...my S in the sonata comes off.... so I guess its to the dealer and have them put it back on. It look like it was glued on... at least I lost it while I was washing it and it didn't just fall off and not know where its at. crazy.....


it is really getting hot out now...

just did some running today, did a few loads of laundry and will finish that up tomorrow. thru some kabobs on the grill for dinner....and that's about it....

We had a pack rat, finally got here around 6:00. Unloaded about 2/3, still a lot of unpacking. But starting to feel like home now that our stuff is here. Mark doesn't get down until Sunday, so just me for now. It's all good, I am so OCD all we would have done is fight anyway..

What did everyone do for the 4th? I was at animal kingdom in the morning but ended up leaving after an hour. Road EE 3 times and then made the mistake of getting on Kali river rapids. I should know better, I am a water magnet. You would have thought someone threw me in a pool, not a spec of me was dry. I warned the lady next to me and she must have thought I was crazy. She believed me after the ride, she got soaked too.

So I went home and changed and headed to DTD to see World War Z.
