We haven't started packing yet ourselves. We tend to wait to the last second to pack for some reason. I actually suggested putting our snorkel stuff, ds5's life vest and pirate costumes in a suitcase last weekend but never got around to it. We tend to be overpackers, but are trying hard this time to only use 2 rolling duffel bags and a hanging suitcase. We'll be gone a week, so we'll probably have a bag for the park days and a bag/hanging case for the cruise. When we went on the Magic for 7 days in May, I was glad to have packed 4 or 5 swimsuits since we were at the pool or beach every day and I hate getting in a wet suit (and so do our boys). I did cut back on pajamas to 2 pair over the week since on our 4 day in 2005 the boys always fell asleep at the shows and we'd just leave them in their t-shirts and boxer briefs isntead of their pajamas. For the cruise in December, I'm bringing them each 2 swimsuits (one to wear, one to dry) and 1 pair of pajamas. I'll pack them each a shorts/t-shirt outfit a day plus one extra, 2 pair of khaki's, 1 polo top, 1 pirate costume and 1 semi formal outfit. Not sure if the latter will be a polo or button down/tie/jacket. They still have nice navy blazers from the last cruise that fit and it would be nice to have their pictures taken dressed up. I'm bringing a pair of capris/blouse for casual night, skirt/top for pirate night and dress (not a gown or anything) for semi-formal. DH will wear khaki's and a polo the first night, his Disney Pirate's In the Caribbean shirt on Pirate night and either a Polo or button down shirt/tie/jacket for semi-formal. He wants to really pack light this trip so we may just go with the Polos for them on semi-formal. They were in tuxes in May on formal night and blazers on semi-formal and we got some great pictures then. Decisions, decisions...
Brennan (ds5) made his Disney trip countdown chain 2 days ago in Mickey colors. Usually we wait for the 30 day mark, but he was so excited he couldn't wait. He even wrote Mickey Mouse on the last one. When I asked him how he knew how to spell it, he pointed to his head and said "it's always in my head." We've created a Disney monster!
It's started to get chilly here, which makes a Caribbean cruise all that more appealing.
