Hello all my DH (Ron ) and I Renee) just booked this cruise and the one next one for our first B2B we were on the Fantasy in August but this will be our first Dream cruise can't wait

Welcome to our thread! That will be neat to be able to compare notes between the Fantasy and the Dream. I've only been on the Wonder so far, but loved every second of it.

Thank you....I am sure you will love the Dream as well....I see your location is Maui...awesome...since your coming all that way are you planning on a land vacation as well? I am excited to be spending our wedding anniversary on Castaway Cay and for the Christmas decorations that will be up...its a great way to start the holidays

Yep, the cruise is just an add-on to our long Disney World vacation actually, we're doing 6 nights before and 6 nights after the cruise at Bay Lake Tower and Boardwalk Villas. We usually go to Disneyland since its much closer, but once we owned DVC we had to make a pilgrimage to the World at least once ... and since we're going to Florida anyways and are now hooked on DCL, we couldn't resist seeing the new ship and Castaway Cay at least once ... Yep, the Mouse got us addicted very well ...

and you should have less people in the parks also since it will be after Thanksgiving when your here...does sound like a grand vacation for sure....awesome to be spending your first time on Castaway Cay on your I think this cruise will make it the 10th time being on Castaway Cay since a few of our cruises were double dips when you go to Castaway Cay 2x wish all the cruises did that

Ohmygoodness I would have a double dip! I especially like that a lot of them are 5 night itineraries, between the 5 and 7 night itineraries I've been on, I actually preferred the 5 night (we only had 2 stops, with 2 sea days that were wonderful).

I'm hoping to tell people if we do a cruise meet ... usually the FE coordinator has a list of any stateroom changes on their door.

Good!! Since I'm solo with my 5 year old twins i wasn't sure how id manage, but a few friendly fellow DISers around maybe be helpful watching out for 1 while i take the other down, since their too short to ride solo and will be devastated if i tell them they cant ride because their with mommy alone.

My DH and I are planning on doing Auraduck and Rainforest Spa on Nassau day. We'll be glad to help.

We haven't scheduled a meet yet; I'm thinking of a meet at 2:30p on embarkation day? What is the Dream equivalent to the Promenade lounge?

For anybody who hasn't seen one, here's a Navigator for the 3 night that a fellow DISser was kind enough to post after their October cruise. Obviously the movies will be different but a bunch of stuff will hopefully be the same!

So sweet of you! Im now taking my step son who hopefully can go down with one of them, and problem will be solved, but if you see me panicked at the bottom unsure of what to do, dont be surprised!




So are we keeping FE list open, or closing it? Im going to start planning our gifts and wanted to have a sense of who and how many items! Im good with keeping it open a while longer if others want to join, but will obviously need to know before we all leave!

I've already ordered some of my gifts, so I'm for closing it ... unless anybody else wants to join, maybe we should make the cutoff by Wednesday so anyone who wants to can start shopping now? Atm we have just 7 rooms but still don't have jhagen's cabin number, right?

Did jhagen ever confirm? I think they said they wanted to do FE but I don't think they've been on this thread since then....

Thanks too for suggesting a 2:30 meet on embarkation day. I looked for the Promenade Lounge eqivalent in my Passprter; there is the D lounge on Deck 4....but I have no idea if that's what we're looking for...

for the other part of are B2B cruise they are having there meet and greet at 3pm at club 687 on embarkation day ...supposed to be close the the place DVC meets at 2:30 so you would be able to do both...so if you have both people in this group that maybe a good choice

So no one else sounded like they wanted to jump in, and jhagen never looks like they confirmed... so are we officially closing our FE?

If so, can we repost a final confirmed list... I will start to plan our cabin's contributions!
