Im so excited...are you guys going to wdw before??? we are going to be there the day after thanksgiving and stay up till the cruise...Long Gone it looks like your kids and my friends kids are about the same ages...are your kids going to be in the clubs as well??? Im just waiting to see how my friends ds2 will be ...right now hes really attached to his mom the other 2 Im sure will be fine....just going to hope for the best...

We are going to be a WDW 1 day before and 3 days after. We did a Land/Sea in December and paid to make our park tickets No Expiration. So, we still have 4 unused days.

Wish we had the time and money to stay as long as you. Where are you staying?

Our kids will be in the clubs. They enjoyed them, for the most part.
The CMs are great with the kids. Hopefully the 2yo will be less attached. DS8 was disenchanted when he went to the club and they made cookies. One CM took the cookie dough to 'bake it'. He returned about 3 minutes later with the cookies. DS was angry that he didn't get to eat the cookies he made.

Where in California are you? I grew up in the Bay Area.

we are going to be at Boardwalk Villas...yeah the 2yo will be just turned 4 when we go so heres hoping...thats messed up that they didnt bake his cookies...so cool that you've done the cruise before...this is my first time ever doing a cruise...from the time they started doing the cruises I wanted to go but didnt have that kind of money or time..but I swore I would go at least once, which is why we are doing it up so big...its helping that my friend is going which makes it more cost effective..Im in the middle of the state...the "agriculture" part of cali...although I live in a city...its a small one...80k or so people here....I live about and hour to hour 1/2 from Yosemite and about close to 2 hours to the bay area...

You will have a blast!! It is so worth it!! It was our first cruise. You can do as much or as little as you want. There are activities going on all the time.

Sounds like you're in the San Joaquin Valley. I was born in Modesto and my dad lived all over the valley when I was growing up. Kind of miss it, but Colorado is nice.

oh my gosh...I live in Merced...what a seriously small world it is...we are getting so big anymore....everybody thought we would crash and burn after castle air force base closed but we now have a UC here...beat out Modesto, Stockton and Turlock for it:laughing: even though we have gotten bigger they still havent given us a decent mall so I go to Modesto Mall and I go there to eat at Red Lobster...we had one but due to bad management they shut it down:confused3 so how long since you've been out this way?

I was going to guess Merced or Manteca. I haven't been to Modesto in a long time. But we had a family reunion in Santa Cruz last June. This year I may go back to Gilroy for my high school reunion. We're looking into SoCal for a family vacation next summer. I kind of miss living there, but it has changed a lot since I was a kid. Too many people and it's too expensive.

You are lucky to go so long! When we were there last year, between Thanksgiving and Christmas break seems to be the perfect time to go to the parks and on the cruise. It was warm, not hot, and the parks weren't too crowded. If my mother-in-law hadn't been in an electric scooter:headache: , we could have walked on about half the rides without waiting. My wife uninvited her to go with us to the parks this time:yay: .

is the lines longer for those in a scooter? Yeah Im really excited to be able to go that time of year...I cant handle it being hot but warm I can do no problem...Im getting ready to go to DL in a few weeks for a few days...I have an AP so I need to get some use out of it because Im not renewing my pass next year else I will go and spend money I need to save for wdw/cruise so its just better for me to not renew you know what i mean?

Looks like we'll be joining you on this cruise. We've never been on the Wonder but have done 3 cruises on the Magic. I want to see the ship at Christmas in all it's glory!

welcome...I cant wait till this thread gets filled up...that will mean we are getting closer:banana:

Welcome! We sailed the Wonder in Dec 2007. It was nice to see it all decorated and the characters in their holiday outfits. We hope to be able to rebook onboard for a cruise on the Magic.

We booked this cruise and 2 dummy dates when we were on the PC cruise so if DCL comes out with a good 2010 schedule we have one ready to switch over.
