Welcome! This is my first cruise too so I'm sure I need to learn more. Have you looked at excursions? Also it a Merry time cruise so Christmas themed too or so I've read.
We are just now starting a second group for FE here. I'm just on my phone but I'll start a convo once I get to a computer.

This is our first cruise, as well. We have family friends who took this same cruise exactly before ours will sail. I have also read previous years' personal navigators. They offer stories with Mrs. Claus, gingerbread making for the kids (sign up on embarkation day), and also a tree lighting ceremony on the first day. I believe there's a little extra "Christmas pixie dust" on Castaway Cay, as well. Reading personal navigators from previous Very Merry Time Cruises will help with any little extras!
The only other thing it seems that you may need to prep for would be any port adventures, any adult dining reservations, cabanas on Castaway Cay, and meet and greet tickets, as those can be booked as soon as your booking window opens.

We are just getting started with the second group on here. I'll add you to that conversation. I think we'll keep it open until 4-6 weeks before the cruise to allow others to join. So far we're small but present.
