Since DCL may revise their available activities before we sail, the following list is TENTATIVE and days/times are TBD (to be determined). *Please check your Navigators to confirm times and locations!! All meets are entirely voluntary, at your discretion.

Walking Ship Tour: 2:00 and 2:30pm embarkation (boarding) day. Meet at Deck 10, Forward Elevators*.
We have a lot of “First Time” Cruisers in our group! What a great way to meet some of your fellow passengers as well as get familiar with the ship.

Sail-Away Celebration: 4:30pm, Goofy's Pool Stage, Deck 9*, embarkation (boarding) day. We will be on the port side as close to the left front area of the stage as we can. We hope you can join us!! Alternate spot for those not wanting to be near the speakers - one deck up (Deck 10, port side) looking down on the action.

King Tritons Tree Lighting Decree: 7:30 pm, Lobby Atrium*, embarkation (boarding) day. Come join us get into the Holiday spirit!! Maybe we can even pull off a group photo too???

Promenade Lounge Ornament Exchange: Join us in the Promenade Lounge, Deck 3 Aft, for our ornament exchange. (Time TBD.) (One per stateroom only/ $15.00 max) This is a family friendly lounge fully visible from the corridor - - no doors. We will probably be somewhere towards the left or center as you face the bar. Just look for a Mickey Mouse on the table and you've found the right place.

The Cove Cafe: (TBD) Take a break in this classy, cozy cafe. Sip some coffee or a cocktail and chat with other Christmas Castaways!!

Tea with Alice: (TBD) Check with Guest Services for tickets and times.
Don’t be late for this very important date!! Come join us for a special tea with Alice.

Pirates in the Caribean Deck Party: Tuesday, 9:45pm Goofy Pool Stage.*
Come join us get are “AARRGHHH” on!! Just look for the flashing Skulls!!

Castaway Cay 5K: Meet at 10:15 at Bike Rental Area.*
Would you like to be a healthy character? Come join us for a run or walk on Castaway Cay!

This is what I have set up so far. Additional meets maybe added. For those of you that haven't already done so..please be sure to PM your email address and room # for the GTY group!! I will be emailing additional information shortly.

Hello everyone! First time on cruise! We didn't book any excursions through the cruise, and wondering if anyone has been to these ports before?? We have 12 yr. old boy and 8 year old girl. Any suggestions are welcome!

Welcome to our group mrc412!! Glad you will be joining us! The cruise is just a couple of weeks away! Getting really excited!!
I have not been to these ports either..but really looking forward to it! I am sure there will be lots of fun things to do!! Disboard is very informative! There is a ton of information..comments and suggestions for just about everything! I have recently posted some of our planned "meets". I hope that you can join us for some! Looking forward to meeting you!

But yeah, I called AAA and she's sitting on my documents...
I will NEVER so long as I live book another cruise through AAA.

Did you use a travel agent to book? Our cruise docs just came over the weekend from our travel agent. Maybe yours are on the way!

Did you go get them from her??? I would have thought she would have at least called you to let you know they were in..so you didn't worry. That is pretty sad. Sorry she put you through all the extra stress...but at least you have them or know where they are...and they are not lost. Its only going to get better from here!!

Got a question.. At late dinner they have a program, I think its called "Eat and Play", where you can fast track your kids meals and send them off to the play centers. Is there any such program for the main seating?

Hey gang, only 14 more days tilll cruising time. Yes we are excited and getting all last minute things finalized.
Let us know about ornament exchange & meet/greet.
Does anyone have suggestions about the photo cd and is it worth the extra money since you can use your camera for the same shots?

Getting a little excited! We have had a busy fall and I cannot believe it is almost sailing time!

As for the meets-

*I would like to do the tea party with my daughters- do we just ask for
tickets when we arrive or is there a special time to get them?
*We do not board until 1:00- so I do not think we will make the walking tour
*Sail Away party- we will be there too!
*Plan to do the tree lighting! Very excited!!!
*I will at the ornemant exchange with the kids- not sure about my mom-
she's not feeling to good these days and may spend this time relaxing.
*We'll be at the pirates party too!

We are going to work on our fe gifts this week. Please let me know if there are any additions or subtractions from the list I recieved via email! Thanks again for organizing all this and we'll be sailing soon!!!!

This is my daughters 1st cruise..so we are still getting trying to figure all the "kid stuff" out. I believe it is only offered for the late seating. Main seating usually takes and hour and a half..where late is usually 2 hours. Since 2 hours is alot to ask a kid to sit through dinner..they offer the Dine and Play..to make it easier for both parents and children. We currently have main seating...but are may switch to late..just for this reason..not to mention we are from CA and the time difference. Its going to seem really early to have dinner. Main Seating gets filled up first...so its usually easier to change to late seating. Hope this info helps.

Hello!!

I have posted the "meets" here on the board already. Please be sure to PM me your email address (if you have not already done so) for I will be emailing additional informtion later this week.

As far as the CD...it really depends. If I remember correctly..they cost $299. They maybe able to capture photos..that I just can't. With that being said...I would have them take a TON of pictures. Some families have hundreds taken. You may find if that is the case..it may be easier to make a decision of buying it or not.

It will be myself, my husband our two boys 8 and 6 also my mother 72 and my sister. This will be the first Disney Cruise for all of us and the first cruise for the boys, my mother and sister. We are on the countdown and I can't wait!! Lots to do before we go but the planning is half the fun!!

I think I am going to try and get 5 tickets for all of us to go. I'll ask my son later today to make sure he wants to go- but I think he will. Let me know which one you are going to do and I will try to get the tickets for that day too!

Getting excited- but so much to do. We leave next Wednesday for Florida!!!!
