My husband and I have spent New Years Eve in Disney twice and loved it! He is a school teacher so we do not have the flexibilty to go at anytime and the crowds do not bother us. This year we want to take our two-year so she can see Christmas in Disney for the first time but we messed up! We were debating on spending the money and miss the chance to book at the 11 month window and tried to book at 10 months . . .we are now on the waiting list 
. I called and found out that even at the 7 month window the only resort with availability for those dates is Saratoga Springs (our home resort is Beach Club). Has anyone had any experience with the waiting list for the holidays and did a reservation ever pan out or should I just except the fact that we messed up and plan better for next year? We don't want to book at Saratoga because we like being near the Studios & Epcot, our preferred locations would be Beach Club or Boardwalk.
