Is it normal to start checking the Disney site daily to see if my room has been assigned?

When I booked originally, I was a guarantee but when I checked online I was assigned a cabin right away.

You might not even find out until your docs come!

I saw today that we now have cabin assignments. 7036 and 6524, which i think is a connecting room--sort of surprised by that. Had hoped to have our cabins on the same deck.

Anyone else get there cabins.

No upgrades for us, but I guess there won't be many if the ship is full.

Does anyone know what shows we will be seeing?

We finally got our room assignments. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We booked gty 12 and wound up with a cat 11. we are fine with that, though. We are so ready to go on this cruise.


We are going to drive down on Christmas day. Not for sure where we are staying that night, but are staying at ASMusic when we get back. We are spending NewYear's in EPCOT.

7036 is not a connecting room

but 6524 is.

Shouldn't be too bad if the peeps next door are not too noisy.

I always thought the demand for connecting rooms was high-so surprised one of our rooms is connected. My son and his friend are in that room, so I hope they aren't too noisy for their neighbors!! I'm not worried about the neighbors bothering them.

We booked what we would be happy with because we are not lucky enough to get an upgrade.

I can't believe it is almost here. I hope there are some college age kids onboard or I'll have to listen to my son complaining--thus why we always take a friend-to cut down on that.

We usually arrive at the port early, but are leaving BCV at 11 and hope to get there when boarding has started and not have too long of a wait.

We filled our papers out online for the kids club. Can my older son check his brother in while we are getting our room?

We booked what we could live with, too. For only 4 nights we didnt really care if we stayed in the cat 11. For a longer cruise, we would have to have a verandah. We plan on having a ball. It is going to be different, having both a teenager and a grade schooler with us.

We plan on being at the port around 10 that morning. We will be staying somewhere along I-95 the night before.

We are ready though for it to be here. We have a short WDW trip planned for next weekend, going to the Christmas party in MK and then probably to DTD the next day.
Our high school band is marching in the Christmas parade in MK and they are taping it on the 2nd, so we havent decided whether or not we are going into the park that day.

I was sorry to hear the ship will be full..In my lttle dream world the ship is nearly empty so I can see/do anything I want. Oh well it will be nice to cruise again. I hope everyone has as good a cruise as we are going to have.

Kim--we wish you were sailing with us--without you we have no dismeets planned!!

Our sailing is nearly full according to my TA. she called to see if we could get our rooms any closer, even if it meant downgrading a little--right now we are on deck 6 and 7, opposite sides of the ship. They told her there is NOTHING oopen but a few cat 11s.

We have been on full sailings before and it never seemed crowded, but did like the thought of the place to ourselves.

Got our cabin assignment 2094 and 2096.

Beth, no worries, my oldest two are both in college son will be turning 18 on Castaway daughter is 20.

I am in no hurry to leave SSR in the morning. Maybe I'll even book a spa treatment there since the boat will be packed. Just not up for the mob scene at the port in the morning. It will be fun to be able to check in and walk right onto the ship.

Glad to hear there are other college kids traveling--will your kids attend the college social? My sone is a freshman at WVU and his friend a freshman at Pitt.

They hate the waiting at the port, and then the wait to get into the room. I'm hoping we'll have it timed pretty well to get there and checked in and everyone else will have almost boarded. Then lunch and our rooms will be ready.

I have been watching the weather--one day great, the next okay, but better than here today-28 degrees, although last week was in the 60s.

My husband called to get the movies--very few new ones.

Glad I'm not going for the movies. The new Mel Gibson flick is one I knew I was going to miss when I saw the trailers months ago.

I wonder if they will do Hercules like the wonder, or go with Twice Charmed for the show?

We are hoping to see Twice Charmed. I would imagine the cast is not prepared to do Hercules.
