I HAVE BEEN TO DISNEY AND OF COURSE I MUST GO BACK AGAIN
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I WOULD BE ABLE TO ATTEND THAT FAMOUS CHRISTMAS PARADE THAT THEY DO EVERY YEAR. IF SO HOW DO I GO ABOUT IT MY KIDS REALLY WANT TO BE THERE AND BE ABLE TO WATCH IT

you can attend it BUT it isnt filmed on dec 25; this past year it was filmed a few weeks earlier on a sat i believe;

The Christmas parade is taped on the first Saturday in December. The last 2 years it has been on the 6 and 7. Beware of crowds on that day - we were there in 2002. It was extremely busy 'cause the locals come out for the parade taping also.

We were there (at the MK) on Christmas Day this year, and I don't know if we'll EVER do that again. It was so crowded, it took 20 minutes to get from Adventureland back to the castle, because it was literally a sea of people. I was pressed up against people on all sides. People got really frustrated because it was nearly impossible to get a stroller or wheelchair through the crowd.

The MK was closed by 12 or 1 o'clock because the park was at capacity -- I heard there were 65,000 people there that day.

Also, nothing special/unusual happened on Christmas Day, other than the usual parades and firework shows, but you can see any of those attractions during the rest of the Christmas season.

Filming the parade takes hours. I'd rather go to the parks than stand around watching them do it over and over again.

I JUST TOUGHT THAT IT WAS A LIVE SHOW FOR SOME REASON

I JUST THOUGHT HEAD DOWN FOR A LONG WEEKEND WE WERE JUST THERE SO WE DONT NEED TO DO EVERYTHING

They have a special Christmas parade at the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties (they start after Thanksgiving and run until about 5 or 6 days before Christmas). This is a hard ticket event, so you need to buy a special ticket for these. They begin showing this same parade in place of the day time parade (currently the Share a Dream Come True parade) after the parties are over until about Dec 28 or so.
